Can you name one single person who wouldn’t love to have a flawless face? I didn’t think so! We all want gorgeous, flawless skin, but sometimes it can be difficult to achieve. If you feel like you’ve tried everything else, the following little known tips might help you!
Try a Facial Cleansing Device
There are a few facial cleansing devices out on the market today, from the Clarisonic to the Foreo Luna. The one you use totally depends on personal preference. Would you prefer a brush, or silicone bristles? I suggest reading up on them online to see which would best suit your skin and your needs. They are a little pricy, but they’ll last for years and they’re definitely worth it when you look at the results you can get!
Get Plenty of Sleep
Sleep plays a big role in how good your skin looks. You should try to get at least 8 hours a night to really help your skin out and give it a chance to heal. Before you go to bed, apply a suitable night cream so it can absorb all of the goodness as you dream.
Don’t Eat Rubbish
The things you eat will show on your face just as much as they will on your stomach and waistline. If you eat very sugary/salty foods, this could affect your complexion and leave you with lots of spots and other issues. Try eating only natural, clean foods and see what a difference it makes to your skin.
Use Special Products
Instead of trying standard cleansers, toners, and moisturisers, why not try special products? Products such as whitening cream could help to clear up your complexion and even it out. It’s up to you to do your research on this products and work out which are best for your needs.
Change Your Pillowcases
Keeping your pillowcases on for too long is a big mistake. They will have dirt and oil on them from when you’ve slept on them previously, and keeping them on for too long will transfer this back to your face. I’ve been guilty of this before and woke up with lots of spots on my face and neck. Don’t let it get to this point and make sure you wash/change your pillowcases regularly.
Splash Out on Your Foundation
If you’re going to splash out on one makeup product for a flawless face, I highly suggest it be your foundation. Bear in mind that something that suits somebody else may not suit you. Read reviews and watch tutorials to get an idea of what you’re looking for. You can then go to makeup counters and ask for the foundation to be applied to your face by a professional and see if you like it. They’ll likely give you some tips on application, but here are some anyway:
- Apply a primer before your foundation. This will hold it in place and give you more of a flawless face.
- If you have problems such as pimples and dark circles, use coloured concealer before your foundation to mask them.
- Apply your foundation with a good brush to get the most from it.
There you have them; now you can put your best face forward!
